Thinking about making the switch to an aluminum free, natural deodorant? Check out my reviews and shop these #NoteWorthyFinds
Has anyone else been seeing tweets like these this summer?

I don’t blame them. Switching to a natural deodorant can be ROUGH. I decided to make the switch while working from home so I could experiment in private!
Here are the products I tried, and my top recommendation for anyone wanting to make a change.

I’ve been using Kosas for almost two years now, and I love it! I recommend this product for anyone looking to switch.
Pros: It blocks unwanted body order, even at the gym. I always reapply prior to working out (I did this before switching as well), and I’ve never had any problems. It's an AHA formula, so it's made without aluminum or baking soda (so it doesn't turn my armpits dark).
Cons: If you like strong scents, you may want to also wear a body oil and perfume - which I don’t mind doing. There are also only 2 to choose from. Also, it’s a deodorant and not an antiperspirant product. So if you sweat a lot, you may also want to consider a body power. I don’t currently wear body powders, but will be looking into a few and posting a review on them soon!
You can buy one on Amazon HERE or at Sephora.
This is actually the first natural deodorant one I tried, and it worked really well… until it didn’t.
Pros: Nice smell and the formula didn’t aggravate my skin. The scents for this brand are definitely stronger, and there are a lot to choose from. It worked well on days I was just working from home and sitting at my computer most of the day.
Cons: When I started to work out, the formula gave up almost immediately. It was like I didn’t apply any at all. Eventually, like after a few months, my body chemistry must have settled with the formula this result started to happen to even during the day while just at my computer. That is when I moved on to the next product.
You can buy this at Amazon HERE or at Target.
I didn’t fall in love with this product, but my mom did for a bit! So even though it's not my fav, it could still work for you. If you’re looking for a lower cost option, this might be a good place to start.
Pros: The cost is lower than most other natural deodorant alternatives, and it’s available in more places (like Walmart and maybe even drug stores). It’s also a well known brand.
Cons: If you’ve ever used the regular Dove deodorant, you may have the expectation that the formula feels the same. Unfortunately, it doesn’t feel the same. I found it to be really powdery, vs the original formula which is really light.
You can buy this on Amazon HERE or at Walmart as mentioned above.
